This is an amazingly cool looking coolbox. I checked it over and everything is perfect. Delivery and purchase support was amazing by Matt. Its sides are over 25mm thick, it sits well of level ground, the lid has a wire to stop you ovelyou stressing hinges (they are self stopping anyway). I bought a basket which is massive and well made. When full of food and ice this box will hold alot, but still be portable by me on its own (unlike some roto moulded boxes). Fab but of kit for the price (I paid for mine!). Bought large ice packs too, these are not too big, but are plenty big enough!

Reason I gave it three stars (would have been 5) is because the Igloo silver branding on the front of cooler was wore off around the edges. I expected the product to be in perfect condition after paying a decent amount of money for it. Other than that the cooler itself is great solid handles and hinges seem robust enough for regular use. Love the grey and blue colour way and is a perfect size to take away for the weekend.

I’d been looking at the usual suspects and their hefty price tags (Yeti etc) when I can across the Igloo BMX 52 cooler. After a little research I decided to take a chance and go for it. I’m so glad I did, this cooler rocks!!! It’s first outing was for a 2 day bbq event which called on the cooler to stand up to all variations of British weather, as well as 2 amateur bbq cooks taking stuff in and out all the time. Got home after the end of day 2 and the ice was still absolutely freezing!! An absolute bargain for this price. Plus it looks awesome too

kept all our drinks and chilled food cold for the three days we were away, would have kept longer if needed but we had used it up, so much better than our old 12v coolbox

Having just spent around £1000 on new camping gear for our first ever trip I decided to buy an igloo cooler, have used cheaper budget type coolers for beach bbqs but they are frankly useless after a few hours in the sun! The igloo on the other hand had me wowed from the time I opened the packaging! Not only great looking and solid build quality, it’s a fantastic bit of kit! I had frozen 2x1.5 Lott bottles the night before our trip and filled the cooler box with lots of food like fresh meats and cheese , milk etc etc then I poured 5 bags of bagged ice all over it and kept it in the boot of my car, after 4 days I drained the water a couple of times but still had a fair amount of ice still in place! Was absolutely perfect for our short trip and had we needed to stay longer I would have just topped up the ice. Hopefully it will last a few years as only had it 2 weeks, time will tell!
